Ambuja Cement Rajasthan Ltd has had approval for its merger with Gujarat Ambuja Cements Ltd, Indias fourth-biggest cement maker, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) said on Thursday. Under the plan, approved by the Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction, Ambuja Cement Ltd shareholders will get one share of Gujarat Ambuja Cements for every 50 held, the NSE said.
